Essex county is a large and diverse area, with a population of around 1.3 million people, of whom around 300,000 are aged between 0 - 19 years. The partnership involves a network of a county and 11 local CYPSP's bringing together all the lead agencies that work with this age range. Our aim is to ensure services to and for children and young people are cohesive, cost-effective, meet needs as far as possible, and have better outcomes for all.
